Just got the VERY "LATEST" California Smog Law's into our shop today!

So PAY....."ATTENTION" !!

If you own Vehicle's 1976 or "NEWER" and the DMV notifies you your registration is DUE, and your vehicle is due to have a SMOG CHECK...
You had BETTER make "SURE" it is.....SMOG LEGAL!! It WILL be Checked
and "Missing/Modified" Smog Control's will FAIL the Vehicle on VISUAL
Inspection.

The "30 Year ROLLING Exemption" is now DEAD!! "ALL" 1976 or NEWER
vehicle's will be "Smog Checked" whenever they are DUE "INDEFINATELY"!!

Vehicles 1975 or OLDER are now "EXEMPT" from the Smog Check,You pay
the Registration fee if you buy for EXAMPLE a 1971 Vehicle...You do NOT
have to have it SMOG CHECKED.

So if ya got a 'Puter car with "MISSING/MODIFIED" Item's...??? You can
consider yourself...."WARNED"! :)

Well, for me at least, Corvettes older than '75 are pretty much out of the question for me moneywise. You're liable to see me get rid of mine in order to build an older hot rod. :(

Hmmm... I've always wanted to build a '36-38 Chevy. :L

The only change I see here is the elimination of the 30 year 'roll'. Did I miss something?

I guess this is part of 'smaller government"; getting the government out of our lives?

Go Arnie...please! Austria sounds nice.

Just got the notice for smog yesterday. Due by June. I'll tune her up (plugs & oil change) and have her sniffed around the end of the month. Got my fingers crossed
