On my brothers 77 there is a strange squealing sound when turning. It also feels like the steering wheel is getting a little pulsating resistance. There is plenty of power steering fluid. What do you guys think I should inspect now?

Check for a loose or worn PS belt. Should be 3/8" deflection at center of belt between pulleys. If that isn't it may be PS pump has taken a turn for the worse.

If it is only durning while turning... I would tend to watch for something up front. I don't know that it would be a belt. I have the same sound myself and just recently on my last trip out right in front of the garage I blew one of the hoses underneath. Maybe with new hoses my noise will go away, find out soon enough. Try inspecting your hoses, how old do they look? If ok, could be the pump. Let us know what you find out.

Thanks for all the advice, I am inspecting this weekend. You guys are the best.
