Guys,
I'm having the springs replaced on the front end of my mid-year and then have the wheels aligned.
While the guy's doing that, I might as well have him replace the shocks.
Which shocks are you guys using out there?

Any recommendations?

My car is just a cruiser...I don't take it to the track.

Thanks,
Pedro

These are the ones commonly used, in order of quality/cost:

KYB air shocks (inexpensive)

Delco Performer air shocks

Bilstein oil-filled

Koni oil-filled (expensive)

All are adequate to do the job for boulevard & freeway driving.

KYB ---- ~35$ good shock for a cruiser, I'd put a pair on the back at the same time for balance

Bilstein Sport -- ~ twice the price, but better ride and handling.

Thanks guys,

I appreciate the information.

Pedro

Old red Koni's here.
Still prefer them to nitrogen gas shocks.
But thats just me.........
KYB's work for most folks just fine and can be had for a song.
