My 92 front-end squeaks is you press down on the front end and while driving over bumps. I just replaced the shocks all around, all ball joints, tie rods, upper & lower control arm. What might the sound come from? What do I need to apply grease to which might fix this problem.:confused

Well I would check out all the joints which have grease fittings on them and give them a stroke or two, but one thing to check out is the transverse front spring. See if it is binding on the suspension or if it is loosing its lamination.

It may be one of those things that comes and goes with the heat and humidity.

At my local Jiffy lube, they will grease all fittings for 9.95. I think that is a good deal. It is worth the 15 minutes of time. It also is a good place to start.

I grease the fittings myself. 4 in all.. there's a fitting on both top ball joints and same for the bottoms. Takes about 4 min.

Ordinarily, I'd say your control arm bushings are squeaking and, perhaps, need replacement but, with all those new parts; I'd take a look at the spring, especially the mounts and the pads at the end.

Did you put in stock parts or polyurethane? My 'older' poly needs lube periodically, so I drilled and installed zircs to ease that job.

I would check the sway bar bushings that is common for squeeks.. I would use a stethascope and listen around while someone is bouncing the front end and try to find which side it is coming from, then work to narrow it down to which components is squeeking the loudest.. if it's a sway bar bushing you could use something like silglyed or whatever to help lube up the situation.. hope you find the problem..

Still looking

Jiffy Lube checked my front end and saw that was OK. I will try to narrow down the sound. Thanks guys.....:)

OMG! The geniuses at Jiffy Lube? Don't quite give up on asking, just yet.
