Hi! My name is bill and I have just bought my first Vette. It is a black on black 92 Targa top and as far as I can tell it is all original except for the replacement of maintenance items such as tires, shocks, brakes, ect. I absolutely love to drive this car. I feel fortunate that I found this car and as far as I can tell I am the third owner of a car that has been well-maintained and cared for. It starts with a flick of the ignition and purrs like a big cat getting ready to prowl. I know there are faster Vettes out there but I am having a really good time cruising in my "new" machine. My older brother had a 60 Corvette when he was drafted in the Army in 1969 and had to leave his Vette at home. I wanted that car so bad I could taste it but my parents saw to it that it never happened. They probably did me a favor or I might not be alive today being one to put the pedal to metal in any car I owned-at least back then. Ooops I just gave my age away. Oh well, I am fifty-eight years old in body but I am still young at heart. I got to drive that 60 on a few occasions and still think about what it would be like to have it today but I do have the 92 and hopefully there are a lot of good times ahead. When I bought this car it came with a stack of maintenance records with a carfax report and the whole nine yards. The interior is still sharp as a pin and the paint is still original and although it could use a new paint job it still looks good for an eighteen year old car. Everything and I mean everything works like new on this baby and who knows maybe that's what I'll call her "Baby". I have been enjoying the many articles on this site and appreciate all that has been contributed. I guess I have rattled long enough so I'll cut it off with a happy trails to all! Bill
