Hi everyone, I got my first vette last month and love it(1988white). I've done a few mods on it to try to maximize its potential. I have enjoyed what I've read on this site so far. Since I'm here, does anyone know why when I roll the drivers window down it becomes loose in the door?

Thanks, jug

Welcome to cac.To answer your question ,most of the time its due to the felt guides have worn down and gave the window room to bounce around

welcome to some really great guys that like to help out!

Well, you've found the right site for corvettes. Theses area great bunch of lads and lassies here. They know a ton and are always willing to help out. If you have a problem with your car, chances are someone else has already had it and fixed the same problem on theirs. Just ask away my friend.
Welcome to CAC!

Welcome!

I too have an '88. What mods did you do? This is a great site and you couldn't be in better hands with any issue. Lots of great folks here who have saved me hundred's of dollars in good advice and tech knowledge. Ken is a legend and a God!

Best wishes!

So far Johnny, I have put on a SLP induction system with K&N filter, a hypertech chip, pacesetter mufflers, air temp sensor relocator, battery shield, new cap, wires, rotor, and plugs. This weekend I am going to install a 185 themostat, throttle body coolant bypass, an adjustable fuel regulator and new fuel filter. On sept. 17th I am going to race it at a corvette challenge in Palmdale, Ca. I am hoping it runs in the 13's with cheater slicks.
