NEW TOP FOR 91

Hey Guys, I have been reading this forum for a long time, however this is my first time writing. I want to get a new convertible top for my 1991. Has anyone had experience with or know of a company who would do a good job installing a new top. I live about 45 miles from Columbus, Ohio. Any information would be appreciated. I really enjoy this site and have learned a lot.

Doersam’s Collision, The Corvette Specialist
This is the Corvette specialty shop located in Columbus that I was referring to. I have never heard any negative feedback regarding their services. What is nice is that I have seen a wide variety (year’s) of Corvette’s on their premises. I don’t know how familiar you are with Columbus, but Doersam’s is located off of Morse Road, they are north of downtown.

Another reason why I’m comfortable mentioning Doersam’s is, located next door to them is Corvette Care, Inc. Corvette Care has been listed in Corvette Fevers Annual Top 100 Corvette Repair Shops You Can Trust. Nice thing about being selected is that Corvette owners must recommend you. The owner is Lloyd Harvey. Lloyd had suggested taking my Corvette to Doersam’s should it ever need anything from new weatherstripping to body work. He would not recommend them if he was not confident in their abilities.

Lloyd is amazing, he’s a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and was John McCaine’s wingman in Vietnam. Lloyd flew over 250 combat missions. He’s not your average guy to say the least. This is the only place I will take my Corvette for service that is beyond my skills.
