2 days ago i had a new alarm installed that pages you when something is up with the car, wheather its a light left on or someone stealing it.

today i had the door windows and the rear hatch tinted. its pretty dark and looks amazing.. totally changes the whole appearance of the car..

just thought id share!

Sweet my buddy had a viper alarm installed on his 02 but when the batt went dead he couldn't get in it.. becuase they must had disconnected the door locks..

I picked up one of those alarm systems for my UAV (ugly ass van) that I store and haul band equipment in. Found a dealer on ebay with them for under 200$.
I installed it. Didnt go as far as the keyless start or anything. Just hooked up what features I needed.

Works great. If the alarm goes off within like 2 miles, a FM signal is sent to my keychain. Its got a pic of a car on there, and it informs me which sensor(s) have gone off.

The range on the arm/disarm is amazingly far!

Tinting looks so very cooooooooooooooool.....
I've done mine but on the light side due to the laws out here in Southern CA......@SURF CITY......Cops are always looking for something......don't want to give them a reason to hassle me....

I'd love to get the hatchback tinted. That has to help with the temp in the car when you're driving and parked. When I leave mine parked in the summer it's like an oven in there when I get back. Way too much glass. The laws here are pretty strict about tinting and you have to pay extra come inspection time if your car is tinted.

Technically mine is illegal because you can't see if anyone is in the car very dark and looks good with the Black car. So far I have not had a problem seems all John heavy badge wants to talk about is how fast I was going.
