I am so happy I did this one! I had placed an order with a dealer earlier in the year. I refused to pay him MSRP +, so he took my offer, with the agreement that he could sell it to someone else, should an offer happen, while it was being prepped. YEAH, right! I thought, there is no way I will ever see that car, and I was right.
Well, now I finally got one, Victory red, 1SA, Z51, and grey competition wheels which is PERFECT! I didn't care for the wheels when I first saw them last week on a local dealer's car. But, now that I have had the car home since Saturday, I really do like them. They make it look "more like a street race car" which was the intent according to some people I have spoken to.
Anyway, now I need to get my screen name changed, does anyone know if you can get that done?
My Red 2002 Firehawk was hit and totaled by a nut in a Camry who ran a red light. Now, I don't have to worry about selling that car, it's "dead". Which by the way, means I will have a LS1 (12k miles) a 6 spd. tranny and a rear end for sale. The tranny and rear end (an Auburn High Torque differential) were both rebuilt. I guess the synchonizer went bad, I didn't realize it until some damage had been done. I have never heard of this before, a problem with no noticeable syptoms. Oh well!
By the way, email me if you are looking for a black or white coupe, both with Z51, and 1SB. They are REALLY good deals too.
