Howdy Folks!...

A while ago I started the process of moving my Callaway Website from the Corvette Forum to CAC but work and personal projects just kept getting in the way. I also wanted to change the look and feel and get some new pics in there.

I have finished the first phase of it. You can go to it by going to
http://corvetteactioncenter.net/sites/callaway/turboluigi/index.html

I will add more pictures over the weekend. One significant feature is that I tried to go over all the mods and special parts in these cars (at least for my car).

Please take a look.

Glad you all approve...

Looking good indeed! Leave it up to the networking gurus to keep the Callaway web presence A+ ;)

Very nice Luigi! :upthumbs

Of course, there's always something that we miss (I do it all the time ;)); the title for pages three and four are the same. That is, both read "Luigi's Picture Page 3." Otherwise, I didn't catch anything else in my initial scan of the site. Very nice! :upthumbs

Taylor,

Consider yourself linked :)

Ken,

Thanks for checking it out. The Page Titles have been Corrected!

Please spread the link around!...

Will do Luigi (Have you looked closely at my home page lately? ;)). Do I rate a link too? :L

Ken,

Done.... I had to dig for your website since you didn't provide it on the last thread or on a signature.

BTW, my car came from your part of the world, Los Altos :) Well, actually I bought it from Corvette Mike in LA but the 1st owner lives in Los Altos.

I love it over there. I work for a rather large San Jose based company :) and go over there quite often. Maybe I'll run into you sometime when I stay over a weekend.

Luigi, all ya gotta do is click the "CORVETTE OBSESSION" banner in my signature. The eagle will take you to the "SILVER EAGLES" site. ;)

Luigi, I didn't realize you were such a turbo freak. Nice GNs man! :upthumbs

You oughta see one that hits our local cruise on Fridays; it's plate reads: "Wicked GN", and I believe it. :eek

Yeah,

There's nothing like forced induction :)

Actually I also need to set up a website for my Jag.
It's not turbocharged but Supercharged. Honestly, I prefer the kick of the turbo's better though I do appreciate the smoothness of the Supercharger. Either way it puts a :D on my face. I definitely am very :crazy

I ran out of space on my Media card tonight before I got a chance to shoot the Wicked GN, but he (Kevin) says he might know you from the GN site Luigi. Do you also go by "Turbo Lou"? :confused

I don't know (and didn't think to ask) what his handle is on the GN site. :duh

Have you seen that Galina (a 66 year-old driver) has captured the record for Super Stock (SS/DX) in his GN? My National Dragster is in my truck currently, but it was something like 7.894 at 170 mph. Quick Grand National!! But then, it only weighs 3,050 lbs (3200 with the driver) and it builds 1,296 horsepower; with the 217 cid V6 he runs, that's something like over 6 1/2 hp per cubic inch! Ungodly power-to-weight ratio for a late model Super Stocker. :eek

Are we having fun yet? :J

Hi Ken,

TurboLou (Lou Czarnota) is out of California and very well known in the GN world. I go by TurboLuigi. Quite a few people do know me though as I used to have 2 GNX's. A couple of years ago, I sold my Garage Queen (GNX254) with only 36 miles on it, I should have held out a bit more. My other GNX, #413 has a bit over 7k miles now.

It's been a while since I was on gnttype.org and turbobuick.com. I do enjoy the GN's a bunch. They are quite fun in their own way. They are very impressive at the track. One local guy at Moroso (west palm beach Fl) Cal Hartline, has a 9 sec GN and it is awesome to see the front end lift 2-3 ft off the ground when he goes off the line.

I have never raced my GNX. Off the line, their punch is more powerfull than the Callaway but once you are over 115, the aerodynamics start to get a bit scary. For the Callaway, that is just how you merge onto the highway ;shrug :)
