Looking 4 C3
OK.
I don't own a Vette but I am seriously considering it sometime in the next 12 months. I sold the last fun car (96 Impala) I owned about 18 months ago and I can't stand not having something fun to drive and to tinker with.

If I buy something it will probably be a C3 although I can't say there's a Vette I don't like.

Thanks in advance for all the information etc I might glean from you guys and the site

Mark - Welcome to the :CAC

Some great deal on Vette's out there, take your time, drive several and enjoy the hunt. :w

Hi Mark! Welcome to the :CAC !!

You've come to a great place if you're researching your first Corvette. :thumb

Take look at the CAC Tech Center HERE for loads of pix, info, options, etc.

Then when you find one you're interested in, post questions in the appropriate Generation's Forum - Forum Index Here - and you'll get plenty of feedback to help in your decision making process.

Good luck and keep us updated.

Thanks everyone. I have already spent several hours reading on this site and it looks like I still have a lot of useful articles and posts to go.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome.
I am new here also, and a new vette owner. I found Now is a great time to buy, if you have cash. With the economy still on the down side there are some very good deals out there.

Mike.

:welcome

The Corvette hobby is a blast. If you choose a C3 as I did 2 yrs ago you'll find these cars are pretty easy to work on. Good luck on your future purchase

Yeah, C3 is what I'll be looking at. I have wanted one for years. I have a few health related issues to work through during the new year first and the C3 will be kinda like my reward.:thumb

Welcome to CAC!!!!!!!
good luck finding your vette!!!!!

there was an '81 for sale a while back in Amarillo, but I'm not sure if it still is!!!
It's a sweet looking one too!!!!!

You're not partial to 81's are ya? :)

Just from pokin around on the net it looks like there are hundreds of c3's for sell. I'm curious if the prices have moved at all since the recession? Where could I find good accurate data of that type?
