'89 Jet Black Convertible
Hey everyone!

I'm new to this site but this seriously looks like the place to be for 'Vette owners. I just bought my 1st Corvette a week ago '89 Black on Black convertable with all of the extra toys. Anythings a newbie Corvette owner should know?? Feel free to teach me! Thanks!

Gas pedal is on the right!!! ;LOL

But you prob already knew that! Welcome and enjoy.

welcome to :CAC. i think you'll find your suspicions are correct, this IS the place to be for all your corvette needs (information wise anyway, lol). oh, and by they (even though you'll probably never have to use it), the brake pedal is the one to the left of the gas pedal! remember: save the wave!! :w

you have to let all of us drive the new car. Meet at 'The Other Place' on Second St at 5:30pm tonight !!

Welcome to the CAC! As a new 'vette owner, you will find this site invaluable.
ENJOY!

BTW...Nice color choice...;)

Welcome! I too am a new owner, of a 1984 coupe. This site has saved me several hundred dollars already. These guys and gals are really smart and helpful too. One thing I learned the hard way was you can search for problems in pasts posts. Very helpful. Congrats on the Corvette and I hope you enjoy driving and working on it.

The first thing you need to know is to join a local Corvette club. They will be the best repository of knowledge that you will need. Of course, the CAC is always here for anything you will need to know between meetings. Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the Corvette community. Your are now living among a select few. Happy Vetting.

Congrats on your vette. Best advice is to buy a factory service manual, watch ebay, got mine for $26. I also bought a book called 101 projects for your 84-96 corvette. Covers alot of stuff including the basics. Marty
