Magnussen would love to drive in NASCAR

At a meeting for members of Jan Magnussens Fanclub, the danish former Formula 1 driver told the guests of his ambition to one day drive in NASCAR. "I would love to drive in NASCAR" Corvette driver Jan Magnussen told the guests.
"I would really love the challenge. I have only driven one race on an oval (in Champcar at Chicago in 1999 - red.) and I loved it. It was the most exciting form of racing you can imagine with action on every lap.
"Doing NASCAR would be great. It has been difficult for europeans in NASCAR but I am ready to take on the challenge if I get the chance. I drove the recent Daytona 24 hour with Terry and Bobby Labonte and I loved everything they told about NASCAR".
This year Jan Magnussen will drive Sebring, Le Mans and Petit Le Mans for Corvette, selected Grand-Am races for Doran-Pontiac, testing and racing for Pontiac in Grand-Am and the Danish Touring Car Championship for Team DBA.
