What should I do port the existing intake manifold or just buy the X-ram? Which will perform better with nitrous? And also I can find a NOS kit anywhere, anybody know where to get one or who could build a kit for the 84?

The x-ram will cost you low end torque. It is a single plane intake that has been modified to accept the CFI top in place of a carb. A properly ported Crossfire intake, Crane 2040, 1.6-1 roller tip rockers, heads with 170-180cc intake ports, modded Dart SS or World S/R Torquer or a good aluminum head with appx the same intake spec but a little less combustion chamber volume, exhaust and a 2500 stall converter will see you well into the 13's on the OEM ecm. I know there used to be a kit for CFI , I think it was NOS-you might call them.

I found the kit it is at Year One for $625, you should install it for your magazine thing. Get that x-fire in the 12's.
ported intake
heads
headers
cam
NOS kit
3.73 gears
1.6 roller tip rockers

you should be high 12's. That magazine article would kick a$$. Your orange wheels must be worth .2 in the 1/4.

Should I put the NOS on? Or is it not appropriate on a crossfire? Where to hide the bottle?
