i just wanted to vent.... yesterday i took my 82 slug out for a ride and dont ask me why but it was running like never before...today i took it out and im lucky i made it home! i swear this thing is possessed ....... and has anyone ever tried to change a light bulb in the speedometer/tach.... i almost got my hand stuck i think i might need stitches...ok rant over have a nice day everyone!

Might be easier to remove the driver's seat, loosen the bolts to drop the steering column down a little, and then remove the entire gauge cluster. Ten minutes out. Ten minutes in. Change all the bulbs while you've got out and You'll probable never have to do it again.

Maybe it is possessed, maybe not.

But it definitely is old. As we all know, old cars need work. Hopefullly it won't be a big deal to fix once you get to working on it.
