If i leave my 2016 Vette in the garage for more than 2 days, it will not engage reverse for several moments. The engine will rev but the transmission will not engage.

After a few moments, it will "slowly" engage reverse and back out and then seeming engage first without incident.

Have not noticed it when shifting to forward as there is not much room to really test that part.

Hi Nick,

I talked to Tommy, our Corvette mechanic in our service department about this.

This is a common occurance with the A8 transmission and can be indicative of low transmission fluid, or in need of a reprogramming. You should bring your Corvette in to your local Chevrolet dealer and have them perform a fluid check and/or a few tests so that they can properly diagnose the issue and conduct any procedures that may be needed.
