I have a 90 ZR1 that, while sitting at a stop light, lost spark on cylinders 1&7. All gauges read normal, no service engine light, no error codes. I reset the ecm and changed proms with no change. Has anyone else had this problem? I kind of hope it's the ecm that's easy to get to.
Thanks for any help.

are you sure it was spark ands not a couple of injectors failing ??????90-92s have injectors that dont handle todays fuel very well and tend to short out .in cking the fsm if it were 1and 6or 4/7 i would say it was coils .what have you replaced , wires ? injectors? coils?but i would venture to say it was injectors . they arent hard to replace and jon at ficinjectors can sell you a full set for around 400. hope this helps

Thank you for the info. It is a lack of spark, not lack of fuel. I was hoping not to pull the plenum again, but I'll have to to troubleshoot I guess. If it's coils or wires I'm ok those are the only ignition parts you can buy for a ZR-1 anymore.

dont mean to dispute the parts thing ,but i can get any part you need ,having 3 zr1s a have a pretty good network of where to get things . if i may ask have you allready replaced the injectors???????
