Now that's a switch

I mostly read and learn from this great forum but I have a problem that I have not seen discussed before.

My drivers seat recliner switch appears to be shot(power in, no power out).
I was told that GM no longer sells the switch and the only way I could get one was to find a used one.

Does anyone know of a source for this part?

There is a place called vette2vette I think on ebay, also has a web page I think I've heard good things about. There are several good used parts sellers, others will chime in. Try a Google search.

Are you referring to the switch located at the left front of the seat? If so, remove the bottom cushion to give access to the switch. Get some contact cleaner from Radio Shack and spray the switch while working it back and forth. Hopefully, it'll work again. Worked for me on both my seats.
