;helpSorry about the off topic but I can't think of a better place for GM tech info. My tow rig is an 89 R3500 4 dr dually, 454 t400 tranny. The trans has a fixed yoke on the output. I've been told that the slip yoke trannys can be converted to fixed yoke simply by unbolting the fixed yoke and bolting it to the slip yoke output shaft. Anybody able to confirm this? Thanks.
