Off to Ocean City.....weather looks decent, put a new stripe on the 2002, it's a 04 Commemorative Stripe (black outside stripes and silver large stripe on the inside). Now the part that I am sad abotu is the 63 is not going to be ready
thus it stays....finished wet sanding, still have about three weeks of work to do yet....this includes assembly.
So I plan to go and have a great time...now for the question. Years ago when Corvettes were in shows or parades you always saw a stuffed animal in the Corvette. It seems over the years this tradition has gone away...do people still do this? I notice some people still do it but it seems to be us older folks who remember this. Are is the so retro people forgot about it. Does anybody know the meaning or the beginning of this lost tradition? Or was this just regional to New England?
Oh well, I have a stuffed RAT FINK (Big Daddy Roth lives on!) that I plan to take....and have one heck a last fling week-end before car goes into storage....
