Over Drive Question

I know this has been discussed before but still new here and enjoying every moment My question is i have just recently noticed when my Vette is cold lets say i don’t warm it up a little first. Is it normal that it doesn't shift into OD?

After a couple of miles she's warm and shifts normal. Now i just had it in for maintainace and everything came out great... Someone mention once a pond a time that OD won't kick in until a certain temp. Can anyone tell me if this be true.

Thank You - in advance

I have a 93 also, and it always shifts into OD right out of the garage.

Mines not in a garage and in the warmer weather it's fine, It's the colder weather that i'm not sure of...

Mine needs to be warmed up before it gets into OD. I think it's pretty normal with all automatic tranny cars. Even my little V6 Camry is like that.
