Question: OD Trans

I was talking to a Fellow today and he suggested putting in an overdrive trans for better mileage.. Would it be wise to change trans
I have over 70K so it is going to need stuff done..

Worked for me. I put a 2004R in my 81 and it took the RPM at 75mph down to about 1800....
