Got an e-mail yesterday from a dealer that said he would order me an'05 for $1500 under sticker with no docs, or prep .ertc fees added. All I had to do was order and fly to the town and get the 1st class treatment and drive home. I could have it sent for museum pickup too. Really, although the museum sounds like a cool trip shouldn't the quality issues and flaws be taken care of at the factory? They told me "he " goes over the car to make sure nothing is wrong with it. So you really pay for the museum stuff and a second quality control check right?

I must not be getting the whole picture... This guy e-mailed you out of the blue with this offer? Had you been in communication with him prior to the e-mail? How did he know you were looking at a C6?

Museum delivery is just that. The car isn't sent to the dealer at all. It stays in BG, where all the QC issues and prep are done before you get there...
