My dad and I were trying to start his 1963 327 when all of the sudden the starter relay started smoking. We don't know why because we haven't been messing around with the electrical system much. Anyone know a probable cause?
By the way, we were trying to run it without exhaust and just the hedders (loud!!) to cure the paint on them. It said curing must be done within 8 hours of the paint being applied, but we obviously can't do that. Will the hi-temp paint be OK for a few more hours?
