Hi! My first dream come true corvette....and now 2nd day I've discovered it's leaking oil...seems to be dripping towards the back, little more on the drivers side, about even with the drivers door hinge where it would open (parallel to that) in about 6 inches or so..... Any suggestions on what it could be or seriousness of this? Cost to fix? Okay to take to a Chevy dealership if I know someone that has worked there 40 years and trust...or better to go to a corvette specialty shop? Thanks for the help!

Where is the oil dripping from? The oil plug area? Get under the car and try and trace it back to the source. Look carefully at the rear of the intake manifold where it meets the head and block.

Thanks for the response...I decided best thing I could do is take it to Corvettes of Houston and have them find the problem....I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue what I was looking at under the car and would seriously do my damage than help! Hopefully it's not a serious problelm and can be resolveld without too much $$$$$$$$$! Again thanks for the help!
