Popped the hood today, noticed a small pool of oil on the intake. Wiped it up, fired up the motor and watched as the oil apparently seeped from under one of the intake manifold bolts. Tighten her down or what?

Also, side note... love the hooker sidepipes, but the "ceramic" has already started flaking off. Going to have to get them coated with something in the near future.

The intake bolts (except the extreme four corners, which are blind holes) should have thread sealer on them, to avoid hot oil from the lifter gallery from migrating up the threads and creating oil seepage under the bolt heads.

back out the bolt and apply a bead of silicone on the threads and re-torque to 30 ft lbs (aluminum intake). Somehow oil has a habit of migrating up those bolts without sealer. I used GM# 12346004 pipe sealer on all the intake bolts when I replaced my intake several years back.

much obliged to those who solve my issues! Someday I too will share the wisdom.
