Can I put Zaino Z1 and Z3 on now?

WOW I cant belive its 60 days allready it seems like last week you posted pictures of the painted car. I have not waxed mine yet but I really think I should to protect the paint .I will be interested in what the others say .I think 67 heaven said his painter waxed his right at his shop after it was painted .

Paul

sorry, I never used Zaino either.

My painter is waxing mine as the last step to do. What surprised me is when I asked him a while ago about waxing and care of the new paint he suggested only using my quick detailing spray and not waxing. Of course he knows the car gets limited milage and is garage kept.

i'm not sure how I feel about not waxing the car at all so I'll probably compromise a bit. I'll use the quick detailer on a regular basis as I always did on this car previously, but i'm going to make sure that I at least give it a really good wax at the end of the season before winter storage and than again in the Spring when she comes out of storage.
Just for this year anyway, by the time I get her back home and she will already have a coat of wax from him anyway, it's not that long until she goes back into storage for the winter - only a few months so the quick detailer should hold me for the rest of this driving season.

sorry, not much help in answering your question though

I used Zaino on my 1979 and it works very well. There is a distributor in Guelph, Ontario so I do not have to get it from the USA with all the brokerage, etc. cost that entails.

But I have noted that Canadian Tire carries the NXT product. I may pick up a bottle today and give it a try. Obviously if it was used on Bob's car before it left the shop, it should do no harm on mine after two months.

BTW, the Club is going to the dragstrip today. I participated last year (my wonderful 16.2 @ 86mph!) but for some reason (could it be paint?) I don't have the heart to give it a go this year. We have at least one member with a C6 who will be there. That should be interesting.

I can't see that the NXT makes a heck of a lot of difference. But starting with new base/clear what are the reasonable expectations? It didn't hurt. I can't recommend it one way or the other.
