The strangest thing happend this weekend. my 92 has been running rough with an iratic idle and stumble comming of idle. The engine was making a lot of noise almost sounding like a diesel. I removed the fan bvelt and found it was the cause. I reinstalled it and gave it a heavy dose of belt dressing and the noise went away. Now the car runns great, no miss strong exceleration. Coule the noise have been picked up by the knock sensor causing retarded timing? or is it just a fluke? Opinions greatly appreciated
