I found my dreamcar on E-bay and within one week I was driving home in my very first Vette. Oh the memories.... :D

’89 must be the year for good memories. :)

That’s the year where my older brother started looking at Corvettes. He would take me along to look at new ’89s in the showroom and on lots. Those were some good times.

Funny, I only have 7 more months before I have my 1 year anniversary with my 87'. :D

I'm so goofy about my car, I even saved a copy of the webpage that let me know that I won the auction.

I'm glad I'm not the only one around here who keep tract of these things. :-)

I have the page in the autotrader that had my car on it, locked up with the other documents for the car.

8/26/05 is one year for me!! A very important date in my book!!

My Vette's 1 year was Sept 29th.

But... Today my doggie turned one!

I love 89's too!

Radar :)

I just recently bought a 89 6 speed coupe for a daily driver... I was going to sell it, but it didn't work out... so I kept it.... 89 was a good year according to Chevrolet... GM was proud of that paticular run on Vettes... Most issues had been worked out on the early C4s by 89... I love the digital dash ! This is my 6th C4 and my 3rd digital dash Vette... I want to keep it for a long time... Helps keep the miles off the ZR-1... it gets decent gas milage to... 89s Rock !

I have an 86 Corvette sales brochure to give to the first person to ask for it!

I just passed the 24 HOUR mark! One full day of vette ownership!!

I love my 89, I looked long and hard for just this one.

What I find interesting about the 89's is that this years catalog is promoting the car as a piece of artwork, I didn't know this until after I had purchased the car and then purchased the catalog from the Corvette Museum; I majored in Art in college!

It is cool that GM was promoting this car the way they did, especially seeing that I used to argue with other art students that car design is a form of art.
