Opinions Please!!!Chance to add "cousin" to the family.

I have an opportunity to buy a 1989 IROC Z from a co-worker that is going thru a divorce and needs to sell it (he would rather that I have it instead of the wife's new boyfreind). It has the 5.7 TPI L98 engine and is in very good condition (not showcar condition, but very good overall). Mileage and price are good, and the car feels very strong. I have not had any experience with these cars and would like some input from you guys that might have owned one previous or currently. All opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

My buddy has a blue 89 like you describe with the 350. His is in pretty good condition. It has around 92,xxx miles, and he payed 5k for it. Hope this helps at all.

That's pretty close, this one has ~100k miles and he wants $5,500.
