Orange C6 colors

I was on the freeway south of Louisville a couple weeks ago in my DSOM Z and noticed a strange color on the outside rearview mirror. Sunlight going through the upper windshield (tinted area) at an angle hit the right rearview mirror and made it look Atomic Orange! It really didn't look bad, though I admit to being prejudiced in favor of DSOM.
I wonder if that could be how they invented the color. Guess not.
