Ordered a Crankcase evacuation system for my '68...

Right now - I have my PCV valve hooked up to the carb.. which sucks oil and hot air into the engine... I decided to get a Vacuum evacuation system that hooks up 2 breathers to the collectors (headers)...

Does anybody else run such system??

We have an evacuation system on our big block.

If you look at the picture, it shows the original installation, but we had to raise the valves to keep them from burning, so don't put them too close to the headers. We also changed to the silicon hose as it stands up to the heat better. Use the full length of the mount tube. Be sure to turn the opening away from the exhaust gases coming from the heads. The system works great.

We've had no crankcase pressure problems with our 541, running down the highway or at short bursts of high rpm. There are some more pictures on our website.

Great setup!!! I'm planning to install the tubes at the collector and not at the primary pipes...
