Now can I just cut the connectors out, and solder the wires together. There are two wires, a red and a black. If I connect red to red, and black to black, I should be okay right. I suspect the sensor is nothing more then a thermistor. Red is probably a voltage, and the black is the return from the thermistor with a different voltage drop, or current change.
