Our First Corvette

My wife and I bought our first Corvette. We never thought that we would own a vette let alone a new 2002 C5 convertible. We both love it . Even though its winter here we still have some nice days to drive it with the top down.We can't wait for this summer.

Yes we are as happy as the rest of you. We both have smiles from ear to ear. Next we are going to join a Corvette club and have even more fun.

My first was a 74 and after two years of fun restoring her, my wife feel in love with it. To keep her out, I had to buy her one. Since I already had the OLD SCHOOL, found a pretty nice 96 and since it had the LT4, it had to be sitting in my garage.

Careful: Corvettes are addicting......:J :J :J

You'll love being a vette owner . There is nothing that can come close to the feeling of driving a vette. I now have an 81 (original owner) and an 02 Mag Red Vert 6 Spd. and I like my 02 so much I'm bidding on an 02 Millenium Yellow Vert 6Spd.

My wife and I bought our first and only vette new in 1998 and believe it or not it has allowed us to spend more time together. We take weekend trips to various resosrt hotels, points of interest, neat cities, etc. Getting there is often more fun than the visit even when I have to let her drive.:bar

Congradulations on your corvette purchase. You will see right away, the bond there is between corvette owners, no matter what year they own. Always expect a nice wave in return.

Congradulations on your purchase,I rember the day I finally said I am buying one.I called the dealer at 2pm and by 8pm that night we were being shown how to put the top down on our new C5

So far I have 5300 miles on mine and I absoluteley love the car.

The only down side is that there are alot of goodies available for the car aftermarket and there is just no way to leave it stock
