Outside door trim

Anybody replace the door trim that the glass rides on. The outside part.

The one that I received did not fit correctly. The push in knobs did not match the holes.

And after a few hours of trying to adjust the glass to fit properly,I noticed that

the rubber was 2 times as wide as the one that I took off. Like 1/4 inch instead of 1/8 inch.

I could not adjust the glass.

Anyone have experience with this?

Sounds like they didn't give you the correct parts....
Can you send it back,and try another vendor???

that sound right Bill,trouble is that I've had it for awhile and don't know where I got it.

That's why I am looking for someone who did this. Maybe they can tell me the vendor they got it from.

Ok, does anyone have an 81, or 82 and can you look at the outside door trim and

tell me what the rubber part that hits the window measures?

Is it closer to 1/4 inch or is it closer to 1/8 inch?
