I have a 2001 z06 that has a possible overheating problem. The temp is 250 and the fan does not come on. My question is does anyone know what the normal operating temp should be and at what temp does the electric fan come on at?

Hi there,
Low speed fans come on at 228, high speeds on at 245.
I am suspecting a blown fuse or bad secondary relay.
Both fans operate simultaniously, at the same speeds, be it low or high.
Look in the under hood electrical center, and check the fuses, and make sure that the fans are also plugged in.
The fans should also come on at low speeds when the defroster is on.
