Hi All....I am trying to rid parts of my rim of a buildup of either rust or oxidation. Doesn't really look like rust, not quite sure what it is. I have used a few products...nothings worked. Any product out their that will remove buildup like this..Would appreciate any thoughts..

Thanks CAC...

Is it white and crusty? If so the anodizing on the wheel is corroded. I do not know how to get this off. I can't think of any way that doesn't involve agressive polishing.

Thanks Brian...I have tried polishing it with basic chrome polish..NO luck, then switched toa Mothers product for alloys...a little bit of luck..It takes the dirt off, but the corrosion remains.......

Have you tried some PB Blaster, or some other type of aerosol penetrating oil, with a soft rag?
