HEY! YOUR IN TO PRETTY HEAVY NOW. CONTINUE ON AND REMOVE THE GLASS AND THE TOP ROLLER. I JUST DID THE SAME JOB ON MY 79.WHILE YOU GOT THE PARTS OUT YOU CAN CLEAN THEM AND RELUBE THE ROLLER CHANNELS. CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE FELT ON THE ANTI-RATTLE CUSHIONS. I ALSO REMOVED THE MOTOR.ONE OF MY WINDOWS WOULD NOT GO UP WITHOUT ME PULLING UP THE GLASS A COUPLE OF INCHES.I HAVE TO REPLACE THE POWER WINDOW GEAR AND SHAFT BUSHING $40.00 MID- AMERICA.I'M ALSO REPLACING THE WHISKER DOOR PANEL THATS THE LITTLE CHROME PIECE AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR WITH RUBBER THAT KEEPS THE RAIN OUT. I ALSO HAVE BROKEN TEETH ON MY REGULATOR.MID-AMERICA MAKES A REPAIR KIT WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE APART THE REG.THE PIECE THEY SELL MOUNTS RIGHT OVER THE EXSISTING TEETH.$45.00. I QUESS MY POINT IS WHILE YOUR IN THERE TRY AND ADRESS ALL THE POTENIAL PROBS NOW SO YOU DO'NT HAVE TO GO BACK IN THERE AGAIN.

GOODLUCK
