I'm about to buy a pace car spoiler (original, used) to put on my '74, but I'm a bit curious how the spoiler is fastened, especially in the top part on the sides. How does the original mount look? Do I have to drill right thru the fender, or should there be some kind of mounting bolt bonded to the inside of the fender? :confused

Milo30,
Thanks for the info but this is the front spoiler, the 3-piece.
I have bought a spoiler, but not seen it yet. I guess it will be obvious when I get the spoiler, but the question now is if I have to drill my front fenders.

OK, the front one is suppose to pretty easy and straight forward on how it mounts. Post a pic and let us know how it goes. I am thinking of adding this to mine also along with the rear spoiler.

Pretty much bolt on, at least on a 78'. At most you'll have to drill a couple of holes.

Here's the rear.
