Paging Jim Gramms from Down Under...

I saw a post elsewhere about Vettes "down under" and thought it might be something you should see - although you may have attended the event - Looks like a few ZR1's and a GS :cool

Starting off, some of the typical roads that you will see driving between Melbourne to Sydney

Some "major" town that has the highway running straight through it (you don't even have to slow down from 70mph)

I think I can see a corner about 5 miles away...

Oh my god, we found a corner

I couldn't resist

25.5mpg was the best we saw the whole trip, ended up at just over 25mpg

My wife who drove the car for the first time on this trip (and now will not give back the keys)

The AWESOME car of the one and only "Dingo"

I thought these two went together quite well, alas, the pic doesn't show the greenish colour of the 58 quite as well as it is in real life

My number one colour ever on the C4 (tied with polo green), Black Rose

Some fantastic airbrushing under the hood of this 78 (have always loves that badge)

A fantastic and well known custom 65

Ready for what hangs out of the hood?

Last year it had a blower, I believe that engine has gone to a hotrod

And holy heck, we even had a car getting done by NCRS

One of the surprises of the show for me, was seeing this number plate

And then this badge on the front quarter

Then I saw under the hood

Awesome suspension setup

Owned by the same person who setup the Australian chapter of NCRS

Bit different to his two other mid years

Nice lineup of cars cooling down after doing a few drags runs on the Sunday.

I was glad to see this guy was running his 58 (his best was a 15.1, but the car only has 200 miles on it since it was finished, so he was a little hesitant to really push it hard)

Well, he was having funn until The Dingo decided to be harsh and run against him in his low 13s car

I did 17 runs and my best was 14.202 @ 96.72mph, which I think is fair for an 87 with NO MODS whatsoever

Very VERY nice pictures! Sure like the road picture's to get the australian sensation! Maybe an idea for the american friends overhere? I can also try to make some dutch photo's along the way to a meeting to give you guys the dutch feeling

Also cool to see LHR's and RHR's together!
