Langka!!

Hi

Look up www.Langka.com

The product is excellent for door chips, but it depends on the color you are trying to match

If you decide to try Langka, just e-mail me and l will give you a lot of tips to make it as close to perfect as possible.

Langka

Hi
I just checked that site and it is working. Try again.

The millinium Yellow is an easy color to touch up, as long as it's on a vertical surface.

If you are going to touch up a horizontal surface, talk to me before you try it, because it is tougher.

Alan

p.s. l have no idea how to open up a private message, l'm new to the computer.

Hi

I have to run an errand, but will be back later.

Alan

Mothers also make the paint chip repair kit. It says it uses Lanka technology. It can purchased at most auto parts stores. I used it and it is great on small chips but takes some work to fill a large chip or scratches. Take your time and follow the directions to the letter. I've had some amazing results.

CALIFORNIA GOLD® PAINT CHIP REPAIR

Mother's!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Mothers does have the same chemical, but they do not sell a prep solution that is really needed to clean and take of any wax.

l have had a lot of success with it and was able to fill in deep chips, but it takes practice.

The way it works on horizontal and vertical surfaces is not the same and has to be applied differently.

Alan

p.s. Also the color is very important, because it works better on some colors then others.

My question is not about paint chips but my front has what can only be described as little scuff marks from road debris. They are tiny little scuffs probably from tiny rocks or gravel. I have tried waxing over the marks but they are still there. Is there a polish which I could use to buff out these marks. I have tried Mequiars Polish/Cleaner then waxed over the spots but they are still there. Is there a polishing compound out there I can use that isn't too abrasive yet will get rid of these marks without affecting my paint? Thanks in advance.

Al

Leave it to a detail shop, or you will wind up making it worse.

Alan

On a yellow car many scratches blend in when it is waxed. You may be the only one who notices them because you know they are there. Try some Mother's CALIFORNIA GOLD® SCRATCH REMOVER. If that doesn't hide it then got to a body or detail shop and let the buff it with the machine.
