lt would be a whole lot cheaper to sell your vette and buy another one with a color you want.

There is nothing like a factory paint jop period, unless you pay more then your car is probably worth.

Ok what kind of thermostat???????????

And just when I thought we'd about covered the spectrum on this issue, along comes another option.

Sell the car and buy another one. Okay . . . . . . Will those who recommend that option please raise their hand.

"Thermostat": That's addressed on another thread; do a search and you'll find it.

:w I would agree with that sometimes. If your not dead set on keeping the car you have forever, its a great idea.

Sell or sentimental

Yes it would certainly be cheaper to find a good condition car that's already the right color and with a factory paint job.
Sometimes it's just too sentimental.
Here's my '66 (Impala not Corvette because back then it was 1/2 the price) with its better than factory paint job. And, yes, the paint cost 3 times what the car did new and twice what the car is worth now. But we're old friends. And now there's a new Corvette friend in the garage.
Hope the pic lands here.
