Can anyone recommend a paint remover that is OK to use on fiberglass? I've looked at 3 different kinds at the local auto parts stores, only to find that they say NOT TO USE ON FIBERGLASS.

Thanks,

Try Acetone. Alot of people have had good luck using this in moderation. Soak paper towels or rags in Acetone and lay on the area that you want to strip. Work in small areas only. Should get most of the paint off.

Any local paint store should have "fiberglass "paint remover.Honestly though, the ones that dont mention fiberglass are safe also. Also, whatever you use its also a good idea to do an area at a time and cover it with plastic,so it doesnt evaporate so quickly.

"Captain Lee's" works great, and is safe for fiberglass
So true ,just beware of buying it from retailers.I bought some from Mid America that had been sitting on a shelf for two years. It resembled the "jelly"that they pack vienna sausages with.Needless tho say I buy straight from the Halon Marketing now.The actual captain now works for Hemmings motor news, nice guy.
