Hello

Does anyone know where I can get dark brown paint in a spray can for a 1982 collectors edition?

I need to paint the console but not the dash so I need a good match.

I read somewhere that it was Dupont #D8262J.

I can not find that number or even dupont paint.

And I called Ecklers and they don't have it.

My suggestion would be to find an auto paint supplier. A good one can color match just about anything with their color gun. tell them what it's for and they should be able to whiz up as much as you need. They'll need the car to shoot it with the color match, but after that, it's all downhill

I agree with Tim AT above. As I've ordered interior paint/dye from corvette interior suppliers in the past (spray bombs) and the match was terrible. Of course my interior is difficult color to match (med saddle) and aged/sun faded as well. Chances are slim to hope for a match for that. (live and learn) ;squint:
A good supplier can match your needs.

Interior D8259J
taillight D8262J taillight is a single stage flex add for front and rear caps
interior brown D8262J
Dupont 2322S interior brown useadd305S med gloss.
