Painted Calipers

I'm interested in painting my calipers red. ( like the Z06 ) Can I use Rust-o-leum ( sunset red ) or Krylon ( Banner Red )?
What about the heat generated, will it discolor the paint?
Any experiences or advice appreciated.

I've heard Rust o leum works good. My daughter painted her calipers on her Firebird and has had no problems,not sure what she used.

Plasticoat makes caliper paint in a spray can ,all colors . High heat paint. I used it on my 85 and no problems.
