Painted calipers

Is there a place to purchase pre-painted calipers? I know I see an awful lot of people painting them red themselves, but that's beyond me.

Stock GM Z06 Corvette calipers are red. They fit all models of C5.

Mid America Designs, www.madvet.com has Z06 style red calipers also. Don't know how much the Dealers are, but these are ACDelco and $399.99 for a set of 4.

Ack! I had just looked at Mid America.... $400!!!! On second thought, maybe the paint isn't such a bad option.

You can always sell your original calipers on ebay to reduce your final cost.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought there would be a market out there for them. Any thoughts on what a person would ask for them? Or what a fair bid would be? Thanks!

I saw a can of red spray paint in Autozone that said it was 'high heat' paint for brake parts. It's just about time for some braided steel hoses to go on so I think I try some out. Anyone out there already try?

Hi, Dburgjohn. I saw the caliper paint here http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.114.720, but it wasn't spray paint.... this you brush on. I'm curious if it looks tacky up close - like someone didn't use much precision with the brush.
