I wonder how it would look ? Do u think it would look better than the current Gold colored wheels ??? Has anyone tried painting them Black ??

Thanks, Dave

Ive seen a couple vettes with the Ralleye Wheels painted the same color as the body...and to me, it looks good. It probably isnt everyones cup o tea, but its up to you. I was thinking of just leaving them black with the POR 15 ; i guess i could always spray em if i didnt like the black. I might try my spare wheel first and see how it looks.

I've seen a few painted black and they are OK. But I think most people prefer the stock silver/gray color :upthumbs

Sorry to jump onto your thread asking about your engine...My car is in the shop. I'm getting it shortblocked.
It will be a 461. Reworked edlebrock 454-O heads, 850 carb Demon, I also have a edel air gap intake anyway. Just wondering is that 540 rear wheel horsepower?

Thanks Dave

Oh yeah I heard that the POR 15 doesn't end up that shiney. You might still have to paint anyway.

Crebo,

Its gross h.p. Its based on Edelbrocks Website Dyno charts, Desktop Dyno software, and magazine dyno'd Buildups.

WHenever you use POR15 and it will be in the sunlight...you have to topcoat it , so it doesnt really matter how shiney the POR15 is .
