One of the little things that I chose to ignore when I purchased my '60 Vette was the fact that the previous owner had put a manual choke control knob THROUGHT THE DASH between the light and wiper switches. On the other side there was a plug next to the ignition switch. While browsing some catalogs I found a park brake flasher plug that looks, as Stevie Nicks would say, "hauntingly familiar". Did one of these two holes in my dash used to be for a park brake flasher? If so, why would anyone want to remove one if they had one? :confused

The park brake flasher bulb is in the speedo area of the cluster on '58-62's; no bulbs were ever in the lower area where the switches are.

I believe the plug next to the ignition is for a cigarette lighter.
At least that's what my '58 has.
