Left front caliper mounting bracket - stamped with #3928649-L

Was this part used from 1969-1982 (specifically excluding 1968)........or, 1965-1982?

In other words, are they interchangeable between midyears and sharks?

Bolt size change

67heaven

There was a change on these parts ( front calliper mounting brackets ) starting in 68. 65 -67 used 7/16" mounting hardware for the knuckle and spindle, and from 68 on, the bolt size was increased to 1/2 ". Although the brackets are identical in size, and appearance, the bottom mounting hole in the later brackets was increased to accommodate the larger size mounting bolts.

I just drilled the hole out to 1/2 " on my earlier ones, and they worked just fine.:beer
