Parts guy

I just thought I would let you guys know of a guy that I have had extremely good luck buying parts from. He doesn't advertise much and doesn't have a magazine or website yet. (they are in the works) His name is Kent Renkin and his business is called Smart Parts. He is very, very knowledgeable about C2s and C3s. He lives in Illinois and seems to usually beat the big name dealers by 30% or so. His number is 217-482-3393. Just thought I'd let you guys know because originality can be pretty pricey.

I bought a bunch of stuff for my '66 from him this past summer. He had a vendor setup at the Valparaiso Chevy/Vette swap meet in August. Yes, I thought he had very good prices!

Sounds great,..does he carry new and used parts and all the major component areas i.e.,..interior, exterior and engine/driveline components? :cool
